Destiny 2 Season 18 release time: How long are the servers down for?

Destiny 2 marches towards the future once more as Season 18 is less than 24 hours away. This update, which is set to cover all of fall hosts a series of highly anticipated events, most notably the Festival of the Lost, a spooky Halloween-themed event, albeit in a unique Destiny way. There is also a new Reprise Raid on the way and the return of Trials of Osiris, so you’ll be able to fill your boots will all kinds of new content.

If you want to sink your teeth into this stuff as soon as possible, you’ll need to know when it launches. There will be some server downtime before the launch too, so you’ll be unable to play for a couple of hours in the build-up to the big release. We’ve got all the details on when the update will drop, how long the Destiny 2 server downtime will last, and what you can do while you’re waiting for it all to kick off.

If you’re looking for more Destiny 2 quests to get you ready for the update, then check out our Vox Obscura and Parasite Exotic quest guides.

  • BST: 5:45pm.
  • CEST: 6:45pm.

  • PDT: 9am.
  • EDT: 12pm.
