Desperate teams could mean another trade for Cardinals

The Arizona Cardinals were part of three trades on Thursday during the NFL draft. They could be involved in more as Day 2 of the draft commences Friday evening at 7 p.m. ET (4 p.m. Arizona time).

While any team can make a trade, the Cardinals’ position makes them an ideal candidate.

According to Pro Football Talk, the Las Vegas Raiders, Atlanta Falcons and Tennessee Titans were all “desperately” trying to trade back into the first round of the draft.

The players they are or were targeting are likely still on the board, especially if they are looking to draft a quarterback.

With the second pick in the second round, the Cardinals are in a prime position to trade back again. They do not have a pick in the fourth or fifth round following their previous trades and could obtain picks there.

They already acquired 2024 picks in the first, third and fifth rounds. They could add more to that draft.

Perhaps we will have more trade action this evening.

An offer for Cardinals fans
