Desperate Housewives star sparks rumour she's joining Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

Nicollette Sheridan has sparked speculation that she's joining the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (RHOBH) after previously suggesting that producers had approached her.

Fans of the reality TV show have been hoping for some time that the actress - best known for her role as Edie Britt on Desperate Housewives - would become part of the cast.

The 59-year-old has now prompted speculation that she may appear on the Bravo show in the future after having shared a cryptic post to her followers on social media earlier this week.

Nicollette tweeted: "You'll be seeing a lot of me soon…" It accompanied artwork - featuring her initials - of someone in meditation and the caption included a link to her website.

Although the post may be referencing her upcoming NS Love collection - which is teased on her website - some fans interpreted it as a sign that she's joined RHOBH.

It prompted prompted speculation that she's going to be on the reality TV show, with several fans responding to Nicollette by writing 'RHOBH' alongside question marks.

Others tweeted #RHOBH in response to the tweet, including two people who posted such alongside a heart eyed emoji and a fingers crossed emoji respectively.

Seemingly speculating about her tweet, another person responded: "RHOBH next season? Great opportunity to promote the new business and you are so needed there".

Another person seemed to suggest that whatever she was teasing in the post would be "worth the wait" though added: "But only if u will be the newest housewife on RHOBH".

Some followers instead referenced cast members from the show in their responses, including one person who wrote: "Please don't take any s*** from the mean girls.... [...] I am thrilled [Lisa] Rinna is gone, and you are coming in".

Nicollette also shared the post on Instagram this week, though without the link to her website, and similarly some fans suspected that it may be a reference to RHOBH.

One person wrote: "Yay. Are you going to be a Housewife?" Another commented: "I really hope you decided to get a [diamond]." A third posted diamond and star emojis.

The speculation comes after she seemingly branded RHOBH producers "desperate," suggesting last month that they had approached her to sign up for the reality TV show.

Nicollette wrote: "Knocking at my door…how desperate are y'all to have me?" She tagged accounts related to the show and used the hashtag #RHOBH in the tweet back in March.

She asked her followers for their thoughts at the time and has since pinned the tweet to her account on the platform. She also interacted with fans who responded to it.

The actor suggested she was open to appearing on the show, with her sharing heart and praying emojis in reply to someone who expressed hope that she would be cast.

Fans are keen to see Nicollette interact with cast members on the Bravo show, particularly as she has connections to RHOBH alumni Lisa Rinna, 59, and Denise Richards, 52.

Nicollette was married to Lisa's husband Harry Hamlin, now 71, from 1991 until 1992. She was later married to Denise's husband Aaron Phypers, now 50, from 2015 until 2018.

Lisa announced her departure from the show earlier this year, after having been a cast member from 2014 until 2022. Denise had been part of the main cast from 2019 until 2020.
