There have been many designers departing one fashion house for another recently. Andrew Gn doesn't fall into that category, however. Almost 30 years into his fashion career, Gn has decided to take a step back.
Gn will certainly leave a legacy behind. Over the course of 28 years, he's created over 80 collections and over 10,000 pieces of clothing. His designs were displayed in Colette's windows and he even earned a retrospective exhibition at the Asian Civilisations Museum in Singapore.
"I've always considered it a luxury to be able to do something that I truly love as my career," Gn says on Instagram. He plans on continuing to build his legacy and give back as much as humanly possible. He closed his announcement by declaring, "This is not an adieu, but an au revoir, the beginning of a new chapter of my life."
