We're here to help you decorate and furnish your home in a way that’s perfectly suited to how you live, sourcing pieces that work beautifully together and feel effortlessly individual.
Because creating amazing rooms is about two things – brilliant design and brilliant products – Design Lab offers a few different services. Once fully up and running, we will be providing a range of styling options, from simple product recommendations through to complete design schemes.
First of all, we're launching with Find, our personalised product-finding service. It's simple – let us know what you're looking for (just the one please), and our expert stylists will give you a handful of key recommendations. And, it is free to use!
Personalised Product Finding
This is the personal shopping service that does the searching for you – whether you’re looking for a sculptural armchair, a two-seater mid-century sofa, a beautiful rug or a thoughtful gift, our stylists will hunt down the best options to fit your taste and budget. It is completely free to use.

The experts behind Design Lab know good decor, with experience in design from all over the world.
Iokasti Sotirakopoulou
I’ve been working in interior design for five years, creating spaces that reflect individuality and emotion. I’m passionate about helping people discover their personal style and what makes them feel at home – then translating that into interiors that feel lived-in, layered, and full of character.
My background has always been rooted in design and storytelling. I’ve worked closely with private clients, sourcing furniture, textiles, and accessories that balance function and feeling. Over time, I’ve learned that great design starts with listening and understanding how someone lives and what atmosphere they want to create, then designing a space that feels both personal and visually refined.
I honed my craft at IED Milan, completing an intensive program in Interior and Spatial Design. Immersed in Italian design culture, I developed a deep appreciation for spatial harmony, materiality, and the technical precision behind expressive design. Time spent in showrooms, with suppliers, and at Salone del Mobile strengthened my belief that design can move people emotionally as much as it serves them functionally.
Today, my work is about creating spaces that tell a story – curated, characterful, and grounded in individuality. I love blending pieces from both established and emerging brands, vintage finds, and handcrafted details to achieve a balance of style, comfort, and soul.
Miaad Latoof
With over seven years of experience across high-end interiors, FF&E, and showroom management, I bring a balance of creative vision and commercial awareness. My career spans luxury interiors and retail furniture design in New York and London, with highlights including immersive brand environments for Montblanc and Ferrari, and leading residential projects for high-end clientele at RH NY and FCI London, guiding them from concept through FF&E procurement and design execution.
For me, design is a form of storytelling – an exploration of personality and emotion. I love uncovering how people live, the rituals that define them, and curating spaces that feel authentic, timeless and deeply personal.

What is Design Lab by Livingetc?
Design Lab by Livingetc is a suite of services that help you decorate and furnish your home, from free product recommendations to a paid-for interior styling option. Created by our in-house interior stylists, Design Lab by Livingetc is a way for you to access Livingetc’s distinctive eye for contemporary style – not just through inspiration, but through real, personal guidance. This includes free product recommendations to a paid-for interior styling option. Design Lab is all about helping you find your style, and turn moodboards into real-life rooms.
What services do you offer and what can I expect from each?
There are a number of services coming up, but first of all, we're launching with Find, our personalised product-finding service. It's simple – let us know what you're looking for, and our expert stylists will give you a handful of key recommendations.
Later in the year, we will be offering Style, a full designer-led styling service. And look out for Discover our interactive design companion, which uses AI to serve you the right expert advice and product suggestions whenever you need them.
Who are Design Lab by Livingetc’s stylists?
Your personal sourcing will be done by two trained interior designers who are part of the Livingetc team: Iokasti Sotirakopoulou and Miaad Latoof. They have both worked internationally and are now London-based, each with over seven years of experience in styling, room design and creating moodboards for clients.

What is Find?
Find is for anyone who knows what product they want, but isn't sure where to look or what to buy. You tell us what you need – a statement lamp, a Japandi-style bed, a stylish but practical rug for a hallway – and Design Lab's Stylists find it for you for free. You could use it to source the final touches for a room, or to find that statement piece that kicks off your new design.
Simply email us, telling us what one item of decor or furniture you need for your home. We will also ask what your budget is and work out any style preferences. Give us as much detail as you can, such as the number of seats for sofas and dining tables, or approximate dimensions for a rug. Our stylists will then find three to five product recommendations and send links to them directly to your inbox.
How many options will I receive?
Our stylists will source between three to five products for each Find request. Please keep each request focussed to just one product. If you want multiple products, or a whole room styling, look out for the launch of Style (our interior styling service) later in the year.
What’s the turnaround time?
We will always aim to come back to you within two working days. In busy periods this may need to be extended, but we will let you know if and when that is the case.
Do I need to pay?
Our launch service Find is completely free. We will soon be launching our full room design service where you can pay for a more advanced styling service. Sign up to our newsletter here and be the first to hear more about when this service is ready..
Does Find use my data?
To use the service you will need to share your email address with us and your name or pseudonym. Please avoid sharing other personal information or images that may impact the privacy of you or others (ie. family photos in imagery of your space). Any other information we collect – your design preferences and budget expectations – may be used for our own research so that we can provide a better service, but it will always be anonymised and you have the right to request removal at any time. What is Style?
Style is COMING SOON. It is an interior-styling service for those looking for inspiration and direction for their interiors. At the end you will receive a moodboard, styling notes and product suggestions – designed just for you and your room. It is great for those who want a little bit of creative direction, but don't have time or budget to appoint an interior designer.
How does Style work?
You will book a 45-minute video consultation with one of our stylists. Beforehand, you will fill in a short questionnaire describing your room, needs and style preferences. During the call, our stylist will gather an understanding of you and your project, allowing them to create a tailored interior package for you. Within seven working days, your stylist will send your design package. This will include a moodboard to help you visualise your scheme; detailed styling notes to get the look right; and product suggestions, including any paint or fabrics the stylist recommends.
How much does Style cost?
Style is yet to launch but it will be a paid-for service. The cost will be per project and will cover one room.
