Although the polls show him trailing behind former President Donald Trump and Nikki Haley, DeSantis remains confident that he is the right candidate to lead the country.
During his event, DeSantis emphasized the challenges facing the nation, including open borders, excessive spending, rising crime rates, international issues, problems in education, and the influence of woke ideology. He asserted that he is the only candidate who has consistently defeated the left on these issues, while the Democrats have often come up short. Despite trailing in the polls, DeSantis has faith in his ground game and the support he has garnered from all 99 counties in Iowa, as well as the endorsement of popular Republican Governor Kim Reynolds.
