Derry teenager on life after suffering a stroke at 14

A Derry student has told how her life was turned upside down after she suffered a stroke when she was just 14.

Roisin Quinn, now 18, suffered a massive stroke four years ago which left her with limited speech, reduced mobility in her right arm, and temporarily using a wheelchair.

Fast forward to today, and Roisin is thriving and the performing arts student is set to perform a self-choreographed dance reflecting her journey at North West Regional College’s Best in Further Education celebrations in June.
