Derry Girls star to highlight the 'real Derry' life in new Channel 4 documentary

Derry Girls star Jamie-Lee O'Donnell is embarking on a brand new project with Channel 4, showcasing the 'real Derry' life, where she grew up.

As reported by STV, the actress played Michelle Mallon in the hit Channel 4 sitcom Derry Girls, set in the Northern Irish city in the 1990s.

The series officially ended last week, with a special episode paying tribute to the signing of the Good Friday Agreement.
