A father from Northern Ireland has opened up on his battle with mental health as part of a campaign for Men's Health Week, June 13 to June 19.
The man, who is in his 40s, wanted to remain anonymous but spoke about his struggles growing up as a child in Derry and how he felt "emotionally removed" from his parents.
Men's Action Network, based on Patrick Street, aims to end the stigma by 'addressing the isolation men feel, an isolation that can in times of crisis lead to serious life consequences like addiction, depression, and in some extreme instances suicide'.
