Boston Celtics guard Derrick White shared some amazing perspective after chipping one of his teeth as his team clinched an NBA title victory.
As the Celtics won this year’s NBA Finals on Monday night over the Dallas Mavericks, White knocked out part of a tooth while trying to make a play on the ball.
He was all smiles after the injury, and his team made sure it was worth it by taking the victory and the series in one fell swoop.
During his postgame interview, White delivered a fantastic quote about the chipped tooth and why it was ultimately worth it.
“I’d lose all my teeth for a championship,” White said on the broadcast, which should make any Celtics fans want to run through a wall for him.

Seriously, that’s the kind of attitude that wins teams a title. While we absolutely don’t want White to suffer any more chipped teeth, we’re sure this will be a tooth injury to remember for the Celtics player.
