Dermot Gallagher has dismissed claims Rangers should have had a penalty for handball on Cameron Carter-Vickers.
And the former ref has given three valid reasons Willie Collum didn't give it on the day.
Celtic won the key derby 2-1 in the end but as is customary with Old Firm clashes, there were plenty of key decisions to unpack.
One came in the second half as the Hoops defended their lead as Ryan Kent whipped a cross into the box.
The ball appeared to strike Carter-Vickers on the arm and that sparked loud appeals from the Rangers fans.
But Collum, who has been praised for his performance, wasn't interested and waved protests away.
And Gallagher, speaking on Sky Sports' Ref Watch, says there are three very good reasons he didn't give it.
He said: "It wasn't a penalty for three reasons.
"A, his arms are by his side. B, it's too close, and C, it hits him on the sleeve anyway.
"No penalty."
Gallagher also discussed a contentious moment between John Lundstram and Giorgos Giakoumakis where the Rangers midfielder went in strong and earned a booking.
It was another decision Gallagher believes Collum got right and he says the whistler managed the game well.
He went on: "It's shin-on-shin. He's gone in hard but it's a derby tackle, if you like.
"He does catch him but there's no studs involved and he hasn't come a great distance. Yellow card.
"I will say I thought the referee judged the tempo of the game brilliantly."
