Celtic money man Dermot Desmond has landed in Glasgow as he steps up his search for the club's next manager.
The Irish billionaire was pictured arriving at Glasgow Airport on a private jet as he looks to find a replacement for Ange Postecoglou following the Australian's departure to join Tottenham Hotspur.
Carnlough man Brendan Rodgers is the clear favourite for the job and it is believed the former Celtic boss will head to London for talks with Desmond over the role after two shared phone calls about the position.

Rodgers left under a cloud the first time around when he joined Leicester City but after being sacked by the Foxes earlier this year, he could return to Glasgow on a permanent basis and make his return to Scottish football and his boyhood heroes.
He’s already held face to face meetings with Michael Nicholson and Chris McKay at his holiday home and it was reported that he would meet Desmond in London to see if a deal can be reached. But the club chief has now arrived in Glasgow and will continue his search for a new manager from here for now.
If Rodgers does come back to Celtic Park, he could look to bring Hoops legend Scott Brown as his assistant manager.
Current No 2 John Kennedy refused to go to Leicester with Rodgers in 2019 but is believed to be keen on forcing through a move to Tottenham with Ange Postecoglou.
