Rangers have confirmed the signing of goalkeeper Ivor Pandur on a four-year deal from Hull City, subject to international clearance.

The 25-year-old will arrive at Ibrox following his involvement with Croatia at the World Cup, after playing a key role in Hull’s promotion to the English Premier League last season.

Speaking after completing his move, Pandur said: “I am honoured and privileged to sign for such a big club with so much history. This club knows how to win, and that's exactly why I am joining Rangers.

“I can’t wait to hear the noise of Ibrox for the first time, and I hope we will be successful together.”

Pandur began his career with hometown club HNK Rijeka, making his breakthrough in the 2019/20 season with 10 clean sheets in 21 appearances.

A move to Serie A side Hellas Verona followed in August 2020, before he continued his development in the Netherlands with Fortuna Sittard, where he established himself as a first-choice goalkeeper.

Pandur joined Hull City in January 2024 and went on to make a significant impact as they secured promotion.

Rangers manager Derek McInnes said: “We are delighted to bring Ivor to Rangers. He is a goalkeeper with excellent presence and a strong character.

“He has shown his quality, he is at a good stage of his career, and we believe he can be a commanding figure for the club.

“I am looking forward to welcoming Ivor into the team when he returns from the World Cup.”
