Derek McInnes provides Hearts assessment as he doesn't consider Europa Conference League factor

Derek McInnes isn't expecting tiredness to be a factor that impacts Hearts when they come to Rugby Park tomorrow.

The Jambos are in the midst of a gruelling schedule across their Premiership and Europa Conference League endeavours, heading to Rugby Park less than 72 hours after a 3-0 Tynecastle defeat to Fiorentina. Killie boss McInnes has been there as manager of Aberdeen and insists it's not easy to deal with, but does not think it will impact how Robbie Neilson's side perform.

He told Ayrshire Live: “Having had the experience of playing in Europe on a Thursday, the Sunday game can come too quickly. It is easier if you are winning but Hearts have a strong squad and they are trying to cope with domestic and European football. “They have had a lot of injuries, sometimes three games in a week can have an impact on you. They are in Europe for a reason and they have kept the majority of the squad together.

“I expect a tough game and they are probably the favourites but we want to get a win for our own purposes. It doesn’t matter if they are in brilliant form or not, we have to worry about ourselves.

“If we can get back to back wins we will get some momentum. The way the fixtures have been we have had plenty on the road.

"We have to be better on the road, since I have come in our home form has been the catalyst to any success. It will be pivotal to where we want to be."
