Derek King still bringing humor, honesty to Blackhawks assistant role

Derek King has settled back this season into the kind of coaching role in which he is most experienced. No longer pulled in a hundred different directions as interim head coach, he can focus on working hands-on with the Blackhawks’ forwards.

But King’s honesty hasn’t gone anywhere, and he’s understandably disappointed by the group’s performance so far.
