Tyson Fury has claimed Derek Chisora was calling him a "little b****" as the pair exchanged words mid-fight.
The 'Gypsy King' returned to action when he took on a WBC voluntary title defence against former two-time opponent Chisora at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium at the weekend. And he dominated from start to finish just as many expected, before ending the contest in the tenth round.
Chisora showed bravery and resistance throughout the fight despite absorbing huge power punches for a large majority of the clash. The champion has now claimed that he was shocked by the durability of Chisora, insisting that some of the shots landed would have knocked others out. “What a warrior,” Fury said during his post-fight interview. “What an African-British warrior.
"This man has grown upon me over the years. We’ve had three epic fights, and what a tough man. You know, I was hitting him with shots there that’d knock anybody else spark out. And he stood up to every one of ‘em. And he was calling me a little b**** in there. He was going, ‘You can hit harder than that, you little b****!’ I was like, ‘Del, come on, mate.’
"And I felt good in there tonight, you know. I felt like I was landing me jab, landing some good punches. Listen, take nothing away from Dereck ‘Del Boy, War’ Chisora. He’s an absolute warrior and it’s been a privilege to fight him three times. He’s an absolute British folk hero. And he’s grew on everybody and we all love Derek Chisora.”
Chisora left the ring with significant damage to his face despite asking for Fury to step up the anti, with his eyes practically closed from swelling after the final bell. Fury was just simply a class above his rival on the night, having already beaten Chisora twice in both 2011 and 2014.

There was a huge amount of respect between the pair at the final bell, with Fury going to Chisora's dressing room and sharing a Five Guys takeaway. Fury then brought his children in to meet Chisora and vice versa, while the pair discussed the event before the 'Gypsy King' offered his training services to 'WAR'.
He then posted a classy tribute to Chisora on his Instagram shortly after the event, writing: "What can I say mush? You truly embody the warrior spirit and there is nothing but love and respect between us and our teams. You took the challenge to step up against the Gypsy King when none of them would, no excuses. Wishing you and your beautiful family a happy Christmas/New Year and thank you for a Trilogy that has spanned over an eleven year era. Del Boy you are a legend in the game."
