Deputy Secretary of State Christopher slammed Colombian President Gustavo Petro as tensions between the two countries continue to rise.
Speaking to local press, Landau was asked if he believed Colombia posed a threat to the U.S. "Of course we have our differences with the government of President Petro. Thank god there will be elections in Colombia next year. I think the Colombian people, in its great wisdom, will reject this path leading to misery, hate, and will go another way."
