Depeche Mode are set to take to the stage at Malahide Castle tomorrow night.
The influential British synth-pop group are due to perform Wednesday, 14 June in the first of a series of gigs taking place the iconic venue this month. Other famous acts set to perform at the same venue during the month include Blur, Sting and Hozier.
Depeche Mode are best known for their hit songs like 'Personal Jesus' and 'Enjoy The Silence'. They are currently made up of two founding members lead singer Dave Gahan and guitarist/keyboardist Martin Gore.

How to get there
Gardai and concert promoters MCD are urging those attending Wednesday's concerts to use public transport to get to Malahide Castle if possible. Here's all the public transport info you need to know:
DART
If you're thinking about taking the Dart, the closest stop near the venue is Malahide Train Station. It's then a 15-minute walk to Malahide Castle, and other city centre Dart locations include Grand Canal Dock, Pearse, Tara Street and Connolly Stations.

Bus from private coach
There's a bus leaving from Customs House Quay in Dublin city centre and heading directly to gig at Malahide Castle. Tickets can be purchased for €20 from Marathon Coaches here. The bus service to Malahide Castle will drop and pick up concertgoers at the Yellow Walls Rd Entrance / Exit and directly opposite St Sylvester's Catholic Church.
The bus service will start returning from Malahide Castle from 10:30pm, and the final bus of the night leaves at 11:30pm from the bus stop outside the venue.
Dublin Bus routes
There are also a number of Dublin Bus routes that travel to and from Malahide Castle. The routes 32 and 42 go from the city centre up to Malahide Village.
Parking
Fingal County Council will be providing car parking at the Malahide Castle Concerts via the Back Road. But it's likely to be quite busy on the night, so it's best to get there as early as possible if you're parking a car.
When do gates open?
Gates for the Depeche Mode gig at Malahide Castle are set to open from 5pm on Wednesday, 14 June. According to concert promoters MCD, overnight and early queuing is not allowed so it's best not to arrive too early.
Anyone with tickets who turn up too early before the gates open will be turned away from from restricted area points around the venue. Meanwhile, MCD has also warned ticketholders there are no re-admissions to gig, so if you leave you can't re-enter.
Stage times and support acts
The support on Wednesday night will be provided by Dundalk rock group Mustard, who are due to take to the stage at Malahide Castle just after 6pm. Afterwards Scottish group Young Fathers are due to start performing from around 7:15pm.
Depeche Mode are expected to come on stage from around 8.30pm.

Banned items at Malahide Castle
There are a list of banned items that ticketholders can't bring into Malahide Castle for the gig on Wednesday. The full list of prohibited items are:
- Backpacks
- Bags over A4 size
- Garden furniture like deckchairs, fold up chairs etc
- Selfie sticks
- Flares/fire works
- Laser pens
- Air horns
- Aerosals
- Smoke and gas canisters
- Drones and professional cameras
Items left unattended will be removed and disposed of accordingly.
Other things to know
Ticketholders are not allowed to bring alcohol or drinks into the park or venue, although water and soft drinks are allowed they must be in plastic bottles up 500ml. There are also water drinking water points onsite, as well as bins.
Some food venues at Malahide Castle will take card payments. And all venue bars will have contactless card payment facilities.
All Under 16’s attending the gig must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to the gig.
Weather
According to Met Eireann, tomorrow is set to be another warm, humid day with temperatures of 20 to 23 degrees. There will be some good spells of hazy sunshine although it will turn more cloudy later with the chance of a few showers.
