WR Denzel Mims spoke to the media Wednesday and continued expressing his frustration over not getting a full opportunity in the offense.
Mims believes he should be a starter in the offense and believes he has shown that since OTAs. But in his mind, the coaching staff has already decided on their guys and he isn’t one of them.

Mims did say he will continue to try and change their minds but also acknowledged that he expects to be inactive for Week 1 against the Ravens.

Denzel Mims admitted that he’s “frustrated” that he doesn’t even have a real chance to start for the #Jets, which is why he asked for the trade.
Said he expects they’ll keep him inactive in Week 1.

Both sides seem to want to reach some sort of resolution to try and smooth things over. Mims just wants to continue to prove himself and just wants that opportunity that he has been asking for for a long time now.
