Love Island’s Amber Wise is warning her fellow stars to brace themselves because, like her tough-nut England footballer dad, she will get stuck in.
The 19-year-old daughter of Wimbledon and Chelsea star Dennis Wise is one of the new girls being drafted into Casa Amor this week.
And she said she will not hold back from putting herself out there. She said: “I’m very independent, I’ve never needed a guy, now it’s more that I want one.
“I’m creative, very flirty, and have always got a guy on the go.
“I’m usually the friend that brings all the drama to my friends’ lives.
The graphic design student from Buckinghamshire went on: “I’m going to go in there, get to know everyone and see who gives me the same energy back. I’m confident, so I will just be myself.”
Amber is following in the footsteps of Liverpool legend Michael Owen’s daughter Gemma, who took part in the ITV2 series last summer. Dennis, 56, is no stranger to reality TV himself after taking part in 2017’s I’m A Celebrity.
Speaking before entering the villa, Amber says she has set her sights on Tyrique Hyde, a semi-pro footballer for Lewes FC.
She said: “Tyrique’s a carbon copy of the boys I have previously dated. Football is a big part of my family. I would want them to fit into my family.
“Maybe Tyrique and Ella (are the most solid couple) but they always seem to be up and down. As soon as Ella is in Casa Amor, I think it’ll be out of sight out of mind for Tyrique – especially when I head into the villa!”
