Denise Welch furiously defends Prince Harry as debate erupts on Loose Women

There were heated scenes on ITV's Loose Women on Thursday morning (January 5) as a debate erupted about Prince Harry. It came after a leaked excerpt from his memoir, Spare, in which he sensationally claimed that his brother, Prince William, physically attacked him after the brothers clashed over Meghan Markle.

The Loose Women panel discussed the bombshell accusation that William lunged at Harry. It is claimed William ripped off Harry's necklace and knocked him to the floor where he smashed a dog's bowl that he landed on. Kensington Palace and Buckingham Palace have both said they will not comment.

The panel, hosted by Charlene White, saw Denise Welch double down on her support for Harry and his wife Meghan amid criticism from fellow presenter Jane Moore. She described it as 'hurtful' to read such accusations had been made in 'public', reports the Mirror.
