Her son Matty Healy is rumoured to be dating Taylor Swift and Denise Welch has actually already met the singer, with the Loose Women star and Anti-Hero singer spending time with each other earlier this year.
On Wednesday night, it was reported by The Sun that Taylor and Matty, lead singer of The 1975, were a couple, with a source, apparently close to Taylor, telling the publication: "She and Matty are madly in love. It’s super-early days, but it feels right. They first dated, very briefly, almost ten years ago but timings just didn’t work out."
The insider claimed that both Taylor and Matty, who has just played Coachella with The 1975, are 'incredibly supportive' of each other's careers, with the Midnights star said to be 'very proud' of their relationship with no intention of keeping it under wraps.
It is also being reported that the new couple will be seen together in Nashville in a few days time, with Matty jetting over to watch his new girlfriend's show in the capital of country music.
Taylor being linked with Matty, comes after her split from actor Joe Alwyn and months on from her being a special guest at The 1975's London gig, when she joined Matty and his bandmates on stage to perform Anti-Hero.
Denise was at the O2 Arena show and caused a social media frenzy when she posted a backstage photo of herself cosying up to Taylor One of the comments underneath came from The O2's official account, with their response reading: "Calling it already, this is the photo of 2023 we can’t wait to have you back, Denise!."
Her friend and former Loose Women colleague, Kate Thornton, replied: "Please tell me you and Taylor are now friends?" with a fan writing: "Icons with icons."
