As one of the nation's biggest celebrities, Denise Van Outen 's love life has played out in the public eye over the years.
Earlier this week, the mum-of-one, 47, opened up about calling off her wedding to Eddie Boxshall.
After years of heartbreak, it appeared Denise had finally met her match with the commodities trader, who starred alongside her on Gogglebox.
However, Denise was left blind-sighted amid allegations Eddie had been messaging other women.
Opening up about her decision to end her engagement, Denise told Radio 2 listeners: "The one thing I’m really proud of myself for is I do know when to walk away and I don’t like to be taken advantage of."
As the Celebrity Gogglebox star enjoys life as a single woman once again, we take a look back at some of the big loves of her life since she rose to fame in the 90s.
Jay Kay
Denise's first big relationship in the spotlight came in the late 90s, when the then Big Breakfast presenter struck up a romance with one of the world's biggest popstars, Jay Kay.
The TV personality dated the Jamiroquai frontman from 1998 until they parted ways in 2001, breaking off their engagement just months before they were due to tie the knot.
Speaking before their split, Jay, 52, seemingly hinted the pair struggled to find the time to spend quality time together due to their hectic work schedules.
"If Denise and I get to spend five days together it's a bonus. We hardly get to see each other because of our schedules," he explained.
"We may go out once in a while and when we do we always get recognised. Some people notice Denise and haven't got a clue who I am."
Following their split, Denise claimed she and the Cosmic Girl singer were still on good terms, telling the Mirror: "Jay and I are still really good friends and people are speculating so much about why we broke up.
"The reason was work-related but we're still both happy and still speaking to each other.
Nick Moran
After splitting from Jay, it was reported that Denise enjoyed a brief romance with fellow actor and filmmaker Nick Moran in 2001.
Throughout his career, Nick, 53, has appeared in huge Hollywood movies, such as Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Parts I and II.
Their relationship wasn't meant to be though, and the two stars split up shortly after they first began dating.
However, their romance was short lived and the couple broke up not long after.
Richard Traviss
Denise then went on to date Richard Traviss - even getting engaged to the nightclub owner in 2003 - but the pair never made it down the aisle and eventually split.
Throughout their two-year relationship, Richard would often treat the star to lavish gifts - once reportedly sending her 100 red roses before the opening night of one of her stints on the West End.
The pair even planned to move in together, with a pal telling the Daily Mail at the time: "They bought a gorgeous two-storey apartment in Marylebone - very near to where Madonna lives with Guy Ritchie - which they have been decorating over the past few months.
"They want it to be absolutely perfect and didn't want to move in until all the work had been completed - they are now planning to move in at the beginning of December."
However, their engagement bliss turned to heartbreak, and the couple split in 2005, with Denise telling ES Magazine: "We're still talking and we're still great mates."
Lee Mead
Denise and Lee Mead's love story began when the two stars met on the talent show Any Dream Will Do in 2007.
As the BBC series aimed to find the next star of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s musical, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, Denise was in charge of hosting the hunt for a future leading man.
Shortly after contestant Lee was crowned the winner, bagging his first West End lead, he and presenter Denise struck up a romance and began dating.
The happy couple tied the knot in 2009, going on to welcome their daughter Betsy into the world the following year, but their relationship came to an end in 2013.
"Following continued speculation, Denise Van Outen and Lee Mead are sad to confirm they have decided to separate," a representative for the star announced at the time.
"The couple remain the best of friends, with their daughter Betsy as their number one priority. The family ask for privacy at this time."
Reflecting on their split shortly afterwards, Denise admitted she was heartbroken over the break up.
"Oh God, I get so hurt. I am very sensitive when it comes to affairs of the heart," she confessed to You magazine.
She added: "I have distracted myself with work and obviously I am a busy mum," with her and Lee continuing to co-parent their daughter Betsy.
Eddie Boxshall
Denise looked like she'd found The One in 2014, when a blind date with Eddie Boxshall turned into a loving relationship - with plans to tie the knot eventually.
Throughout their relationship, the former couple gave fans an insight into their life at home thanks to multiple appearance on Celebrity Gogglebox together.
Just last year, Denise explained how her daughter was 'desperate' to see her walk down the aisle and marry Eddie.
"After we've finished our podcast and this dreadful lockdown ends, there will be wedding bells," she told Hello Magazine in 2021.
"Betsy is desperate for us to get married; she tells us that all the time. We want to do it, too, surrounded by all our family and friends."
Sadly, it doesn't look like there will be any nuptials in the near future, as Denise announced their split at the start of the year.
