Chelsea fans are still yet to see deadline day signing Denis Zakaria in action. The Juventus loanee was an unused substitute in Chelsea's Champions League clashes against Dinamo Zagreb and RB Salzburg, while games against Fulham and Liverpool were postponed, denying him the chance to make his Premier League debut.
It's been a frustrating start to life in west London for Zakaria, and it remains to be seen how much he features under new Chelsea boss Graham Potter. One of the main factors behind the Switzerland international joining the club was because of Thomas Tuchel, but he was sacked just days after Zakaria arrived at Stamford Bridge.

The 25-year-old will be one of many Chelsea players hoping to impress Potter in training as he aims to push himself into his first-team thoughts. The midfielder is adamant that the style of play in the Premier League will suit his game, whereas his role at Juventus hindered the influence he was able to have on matches. Zakaria has also told Potter what he needs to get the very best from his as a player.
"It’s difficult to say what went wrong (at Juventus), maybe the style of football wasn’t suited to me," Zakaria told Blick.
"The team sat very deep, so I didn’t have much space. I’m a player who needs a lot of space for my runs. It might suit me better in England."
