A Notts demolition business has brought in £400,000 auctioning off its used equipment ahead of bringing in new gear.
Family owned Total Reclaims Demolition, which is based in Hucknall, hosted the 326-lot auction at its Wigwam Lane headquarters, clearing-out hundreds of spare items of used plant and machinery to make way for new equipment and 10 new Transit vans.
The sale was expected to make in the region of £300,000, but instead returned £400,000. Items sold included excavators, diggers and an articulated dump truck, as well as old steel props, digger buckets, hitches and compressors.
