Democrats use ‘new precedent’ to challenge Oversight Republicans’ ‘seriousness’ and demand Trump’s testimony

House Democrats are already mapping out an aggressive strategy for investigating Donald Trump‘s administration next year, if they manage to flip the House majority in the November midterms. This includes a plan to compel testimony from Trump, investigate Pam Bondi and other Trump administration activities, and even kick off impeachment proceedings against Kristi Noem.

Rep. Robert Garcia (D-California) stated that if he gets to lead the House Oversight Committee, a Democratic majority would “absolutely” go after an interview with President Trump. The focus? His past association with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
