Democratic Rep. Says House Oversight Committee Will 'Demand Answers' On Epstein: 'Someone Is Trying To Hide Something'

Rep. Robert Garcia, the top Democrat in the House Oversight Committee, said on Wednesday that he and his colleagues will "demand answers" regarding Jeffrey Epstein as President Donald Trump urges his followers to move on from the issue.

"It's obvious to the American public, someone is lying, and someone is trying to hide something," Garcia said on the House floor. "The truth is we don't know what the facts are in this case."
