Hollywood actress Demi Moore has shared a sweet and touching birthday message dedicated to her ex-husband Bruce Willis, as the star celebrates his 68th birthday and battles dementia.
The couple were married for 13 years before they split in 2000, and share three daughters together; Rumour, Scout and Tallulah.
Demi, 60, wished her ex-husband Happy Birthday as she shared a video of the actor surrounded by his family as they sang to him and presented him with a birthday cake. The Die Hard actor was surrounded by his full family as current wife Emma Heming and the couple's two daughters joined their older siblings to sing to their father.
Captioning the birthday message on Instagram, Demi wrote: "Happy birthday, BW! So glad we could celebrate you today.
"Love you and love our family. Thank you to everyone for the love and warm wishes - we all feel them."
Fans rushed in to share their own birthday messages for the actor, with one fan writing: " Bless him, a legend in all ways."
Another added: " Happy B Day to this absolute stud!!!"
"So beautiful on so many levels this is true love and a true family. Happy Bruce you are so loved," said another.
Actress Selma Blair added: " happy birthday to the best Bruce Willis chapstick giver ever. All love. All held in that love."
Bruce's wife Emma also shared her own tribute to her husband, as she shared a close up of his birthday pie. The model wrote: "I tried to get a pumpkin pie. That was a no-go. Apple pie is his second favorite."
She added: "He is pure love. He is so loved. And I’ll be loving him always. Happy Birthday my sweet."
In his birthday video, Bruce could be seen smiling as his family sang to him to celebrate his 68th birthday.
Bruce's wife Emma recently revealed that she finds watching old videos of Bruce difficult following his dementia diagnosis.
Fighting to hold back tears, the 44-year-old admitted to her 680,000 Instagram followers that she felt it was important for people to see all sides of living with the condition.
To mark The Sixth Sense star’s special day, Emma posted an emotional message describing how she felt to watch old videos of her partner, calling it 'a knife in my heart.'
Fighting back tears she spoke to the camera: "So today is my husband's birthday. I have started the morning by crying. As you can see by my swollen eyes and snotty nose, I just think it's important you see all sides of this.
"I always get this message or people always tell me like, 'Oh you're so strong, I don't know how you do it.' I'm not given a choice. I wish I was. But I'm also raising two kids in this.
"So sometimes in our lives we have to put our big girl panties on and get to it. And that's what I'm doing.
"But I do have times of sadness every day. Grief everyday. And I'm really feeling it today on his birthday."
