Delta-8 was handed another blow this week. Kentucky took meaningful steps to rein in the rampant unregulated growth of the Delta-8 market that has proliferated the Bluegrass State.
Delta-8 THC has grown in popularity across the U.S. since the passage of the 2018 Farm Bill, which legalized hemp production and products. A national leader in hemp production, Kentucky's state legislature passed a bipartisan bill stating that Delta-8 THC products sold after Aug. 1st will be subject to product testing, labeling and age-restriction requirements.
