Delight as new Belfast Bikes to be installed in East Belfast

A new Belfast Bike station will be coming to East Belfast after a proposal received cross party support.

Councillors on the East Belfast working group at Belfast City Council have approved a proposal for a new Belfast Bikes Station on the Castlereagh Road, close to the Connswater Community Greenway.

It received unanimous support from Green Party, Alliance, DUP, SDLP and UUP reps from the area and it is hoped that it will further encourage use of the greenway and active travel in the area.
