NEW DELHI: A group of Civil Defence Volunteers, who serve as bus marshals in the Delhi Transport Corporation, staged a protest on Tuesday by blocking a road segment between ISBT Kashmere Gate and Tis Hazari court.
They were demanding payment of their outstanding dues. According to a senior Delhi Police official, a substantial police presence was deployed to maintain law and order during the demonstration.
