Delhi SIR: Booth-level officer alleges obstruction of duty; four arrested

New Delhi: A teacher deployed as a booth-level officer (BLO) for the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise, allegedly faced abuse and obstruction while performing official duty in central Delhi's Chandni Mahal area, with police arresting four persons in this connection, an official said on Thursday.

The incident allegedly took place July 5 at Fatak Telian in Chandni Mahal area when the complainant, a Post Graduate Teacher (Special Education), was carrying out SIR-related work, a senior police officer said.
