New Delhi: Delhi registered its cleanest December air since the introduction of the Air Quality Index (AQI) system in 2015, with an average AQI at 294, officials said.
Winds & rainfall
According to the officials, the national capital saw the cleanest air owing to strong, consistent winds in the first half of the month and record-breaking rainfall in the second.
CPCB
According to data from the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), December marked Delhi's cleanest first half ever, with only one 'very poor' air day recorded during the first half of the month.
