Delhi reports first case of Monkeypox with no travel history

New Delhi: Delhi has reported the first case of Monkeypox in a 31-year-old man with no travel history, said Dr Suresh Kumar, Medical Director, Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Narayan (LNJP) Hospital on Sunday. This is the fourth case of the viral disease in India and the first case without a travel history.

The patient is admitted to Maulana Azad Medical College. The 31-year-old man has been admitted to Maulana Azad Medical College with no travel history. He was admitted to the hospital with fever and skin lesions. However, the patient is stable.
