Delhi Pollution: Grape-1 restrictions imposed know what will be banned

New Delhi: Compared to the year 2023, this year the restrictions of the first phase of the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) have been imposed six days later.

As per Dynamite News correspondent, last year Delhi's AQI crossed the 200 mark on October 6 and reached the "poor" category. Whereas this year this situation arose on October 13.

That is, compared to 2023, this year Delhiites got six more days of clean air.

The Meteorological Department has forecast that the air quality will remain in the "poor" category for the next few days. That is why the Commission has ordered CPCB, Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DCCC) and Pollution Control Committees of states related to NCR to strictly enforce the restrictions.

• Keep the engine of your car, bike, scooter etc. in good condition. - Maintain proper air pressure in the tyres of the vehicles.
• Keep the Pollution Under Control Certificate (PUC) of your vehicles updated. - Keep the vehicle switched off at red lights.
• Do not throw garbage in open spaces.

• Report activities causing air pollution through 311 app, Green Delhi app and Sameer app.

• Do not drive diesel vehicles older than 10 years and petrol vehicles older than 15 years.
