Delhi Metro to intensify security checks from Aug 9 ahead of Independence Day; check latest DMRC advisory

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) on Friday issued an advisory informing the passengers of security checks at all Delhi Metro stations to be intensified from August 9 to August 16 as part of enhanced security arrangements ahead of Independence Day.

The additional security screening, to be carried out by the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), may lead to longer queues at some Metro stations, particularly during peak hours.
