New Delhi: Manish Sisodia, former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister, will be in CBI custody for at least two more days till Monday, a court ruled on Saturday.
Meanwhile Sisodia had applied for bail which will now be considered on Friday.
Special judge MK Nagpal directed the CBI to produce the Aam Aadmi Party leader before the court on Monday.
The CBI had sought three more days of custody of Mr Sisodia after producing him before the court at the end of his three-day remand granted earlier.
In his bail request, Manish Sisodia said that keeping him in custody will "serve no fruitful purpose" as all the recoveries in the case have already been made. (with Agency inputs)
