Delhi has become 'detention state': Sanjay Raut on police action against CJP-led protests

Mumbai: Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut on Sunday called Delhi a "detention state" as he slammed the police crackdown on Opposition protestors, claiming that when "police raj" prevails, it signals an emergency in the country.

Talking to reporters here, Raut said the protests demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar in Delhi were not just about the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), but about those who have faith in democracy.
