Delhi: E-bus fleet to go up to 302 as 150 more to hit roads this month

NEW DELHI: This month will see 150 more electric buses hit the streets. Apart from the operational electric bus depots at Mundhela Kalan and Rohini Sector 37, the Rajghat depot has also been upgraded to accommodate these buses.

Currently, there are 152 e-buses in the Delhi Transport Corporation’s fleet. Delhi government on Wednesday said 150 more would arrive in July. “The Rajghat depot will become operational when the next batch of electric buses arrives in July. There was some work left to be done at the third depot, but that has been completed now,” transport minister Kailash Gahlot told TOI.
