Delhi Capitals' Mitchell Marsh ruled out of IPL 2024 due to hamstring injury

NEW DELHI: Delhi Capitals head coach Ricky Ponting has announced that Australian cricketer Mitchell Marsh will be sidelined for the remainder of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 due to a lingering right hamstring injury.

Marsh had flown back to Perth, Australia, on April 7 to seek medical advice from Cricket Australia's medical team. However, his return to the IPL has been postponed to allow him sufficient time for rehabilitation before undergoing further assessment.
