PANAJI: A Delhi-based businessman has been formally charged with allegedly molesting a Russian woman at a resort in Calangute, according to a police spokesperson on Monday.
The incident occurred on October 12 when the accused and the victim convened in a resort room to discuss a business proposition, as stated by Inspector Paresh Naik of the Calangute police station.
Bipul Sharma, aged 42, is now facing charges under Section 354 of the Indian Penal Code for allegedly violating the woman's modesty, confirmed Naik.
