Delhi: Bodies of 3 boys drowned in Yamuna recovered, 1 still missing

NEW DELHI: Delhi police on Thursday said it has recovered three bodies after four boys had drowned in Yamuna near Kalindi Kunj on Wednesday. The rescue operation, senior officials said, was underway to trace the fourth boy.

The boys have been identified as Mohammad Ali (11), his cousin Sahil (13) and their friends Farman (13) and Rihaan (13). Rihaan's body is yet to be recovered. Police said the boys used to do odd jobs in order to financially support their families and did not go to schools.

. "The other two bodies were recovered on Thursday morning as the rescue operation continued. However, Rihaan’s body is yet to be found and searches are on. There seems to be no foul play as of now," police said.
