New Delhi: A day after the Election Commission of India (ECI) announced the schedule for Delhi Assembly Polls, Delhi's Chief Electoral Officer R. Alice Vaz on Wednesday convened a meeting with representatives of national and state-recognized political parties to discuss measurers to ensure fair and impartial elections.
The meeting was convened to brief the parties on the implementation of the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) and Election Expenditure Monitoring measures to ensure free, fair, and transparent elections, according to a statement issued by the office of the Chief Electoral Officer.
