Besiktas coach Senol Gunes has claimed Dele Alli 'doesn't deserve to play' at the moment after he was forced to endure another brutal snub on Wednesday night.
After moving to Everton from Tottenham Hotspur 12 months ago, Dele’s time at Goodison Park didn't work out and Frank Lampard decided to offload the midfielder to the Turkish league during the summer transfer window. However, a promising start in Istanbul has quickly turned into a nightmare.
Just last month, the England international was replaced after 28 minutes in a Turkish Cup clash against third-tier Sanliurfaspor. Dele was taken off to a chorus of boos.

And his stint in Turkey seemed to hit a new low on Wednesday night as Gunes left the midfielder on the bench throughout their last-16 Turkish Cup defeat on penalties to Ankaragucu. Besiktas were beaten 4-3 on spot=kicks after drawing the tie 1-1.
“Dele Alli has had a good career, but he doesn't deserve to play at the moment,” Gunes told the media after the game.
It's not the first time Gunes has publicly called Dele out, with the Besiktas boss taking aim at him back in November.
He said: “I couldn’t affect the players. Now I can easily touch them, but we haven’t touched Dele Alli yet. Let’s not discuss Dele Alli as a player, but he is below expectations in terms of efficiency.”
