Dele Alli pictured with model girlfriend after being caught up in laughing gas shame

Dele Alli has been pictured with his model girlfriend, days after he was caught being surrounded by laughing gas canisters.

The midfielder has endured a difficult season on loan at Besiktas, with his career now at a crossroads. The former England international was plunged into further controversy on Monday when a photo emerged of him surrounded by bottles of what appeared to be nitrous oxide.

Dele has failed to get his career back on track since leaving Tottenham last January, with moves to Everton and Besiktas breaking down. The latest controversy comes as the UK government announced plans to make laughing gas illegal.

He celebrated his 27th birthday on Tuesday, with his model girlfriend posting a series of photos of them together on Instagram. Cindy Kimberly shared eight pictures of Dele on her page, captioning the post "2(⁷) candles 1 dele".

The first picture showed the duo wearing dressing gowns in a bathroom, while the midfielder brushed his teeth. The second was of the couple hugging, with Dele kissing Kimberly on the head.

In the third picture Dele can be seen smiling as he gets his nails done, before the fourth shows him sitting on a sofa kissing Kimberly's chest. Dele is then seen tucking into a bag of 'pick n mix' before trying on a fur bucket hat.

Kimberly's photos then see Dele lying on a bed before the final picture suggests the inspiration behind her caption. It is an old snapchat selfie on Dele wearing an England polo shirt, with the caption being "2 hot chocolates 1 pic".

The pictures come two days after Dele was pictured sitting around a table laden with what appeared to be bottles of laughing gas. It is not currently illegal, but this latest controversy has left Arsenal legend Ray Parlour questioning what will come next for Dele.

"Whether it's hunger, whether it's that he doesn't like football anymore. Some players don't like football. They fall out of love with football. It's a job for them at the end of the day," Parlour told talkSPORT.

"I mean, where does he go from here? He's 27 years old. You can argue money talks. He's earned lots of money in his career. I didn't play for money. You play for enjoyment, going out playing in front of fans, being successful.

"Money comes with that. It's all about what you do on the pitch. You go home and say, 'I really enjoyed that game! What a game, three points again, the crowd were fantastic!' The buzz you get from walking on that pitch is amazing.

"You could get £200,000 a week; it wouldn't matter to me. It's that buzz you get. I'm sure Dele is the same. He's not getting that buzz now. I don't know where he goes from here on, which is a shame because what a talent he was."
