Besiktas are trying to end Dele Alli's season-long loan early and send him back to Everton, according to reports in Turkey.
But the Istanbul side could potentially be forced to keep him on their books for the agreed duration due to the problematic situation should he return to Goodison Park this month.
Alli joined the Blues from Tottenham 12 months ago, but after failing to make an impact he was allowed to leave on loan to Besiktas in August, receiving a hero's welcome on his arrival. He endeared himself to fans by scoring on his second appearance in a 3-2 victory over Ankaragucu.

But the 26-year-old has failed to build on that good start and was recently hauled off after only 29 minutes when trailing 2-0 to Sanliurfaspor in the cup - a match Besiktas went on to win 4-2. He has only made nine appearances for the Black Eagles and hasn't started a league match since the end of October.
The Daily Express reports (via Turkish publication Sabah) that Besiktas face difficulties sending Alli back to Everton however. Because he has already played two games for Everton this season, the Blues would not be able to loan him back out to another club.
The report claims that Alli earns an extra £9,000 on top of his basic salary every time he plays for Besiktas and with Everton showing no desire to get the England international back on their books it seems me probable that he will see out his loan spell in Turkey, regardless of how often he plays.
