Courteeners fans could face disruption getting to tonight's gig as tram services have been hit by a 'medical emergency'. Metrolink says services on the Bury line are currently affected, with passengers warned to expect delays.
The warning comes ahead of tonight's concert at Heaton Park, where the Courteeners are expected on stage at 9pm. Doors opened this afternoon (June 9) for warm-up acts including Brooks Combe, The Snuts and DMA's.
A spokesperson for Metrolink wrote on Twitter: "Due to medical emergency, we are experiencing delays on the Bury line. Passengers who are Bury-bound should add extra time onto their journey."
