Deion Sanders and a 98-year-old Colorado superfan jammed out to the Ying Yang Twins after the Buffs’ win over Nebraska

Colorado megafan Peggy Coppom got the moment of a lifetime as she celebrated her team’s big win over Nebraska on Saturday with the Buffaloes.

Coppom, 98, has been a season ticket holder with Colorado since 1966 and only missed a few home games in that timespan. She has reportedly been coming to see the Buffaloes since her family moved to Boulder during the Dust Bowl in 1939.

Her twin sister Betty Hoover was also a big Colorado fan and passed away in 2020.

New Colorado head coach Deion Sanders has warmly embraced Coppom’s longtime Buffaloes fandom, and he invited her into the Colorado locker room after the team’s 36-14 win over Nebraska to be given her theme music to hype the Buffs up.

The song of choice? “Halftime (Stand Up & Get Crunk)” by the Ying Yang Twins. What comes next is just everything great about college football.

This is the epitome of delightful, and it’s another reminder that this Colorado season is just unlike any other the school has ever experienced.

Coppom has cheered on plenty of Buffaloes teams, but we bet she’d agree that this one is special.
