India's spinner Deepti Sharma achieved a new career-high rating in the latest ICC Women's ODI Player Rankings revealed on Tuesday (29 October) due to her recent strong performances. Deepti has excelled in the ongoing white-ball series against New Zealand at home, following her success in the ICC Women's T20 World Cup in the UAE.
So far, Deepti has taken three wickets in two matches, and her economy rate of 3.42 stands as the best among the bowlers in the series. This performance has elevated her to second place in the ODI bowler rankings, bringing her closer to England's Sophie Ecclestone, the current No.1 ranked ODI bowler.
