Dedicated former teacher celebrates MBE from the Queen

Queen Elizabeth II West Lothian

A dedicated former teacher who grew up in West Lothian has been awarded an MBE in the Queen’s Platinum Honours.

Claire Lavelle was awarded an MBE in the Queen’s birthday honours for services to the wellbeing of students, teachers and staff in education.

Claire grew up in West Lothian in Kettilstoun Mains in Linlithgow.
